A feral cat adopted my home as a sanctuary for the last year or so. I guess she found a friend cat to hang out with that showed up 2 weeks ago. The new cat had a collar with one bell and had to belong to someone's. UPDATE Was the neighbors cat Patches family.UPDATE Was the neighbors cat Patches  

The new cat was struck by a car on 1/4/2009

    I love most animals and they have a special place in my heart. But when I came home this evening, The poor guy was dead from a car accident. I started being deeply depressed and someone is missing their cat and is now just laying dead in the road. I had a funeral for the beloved pet. I grabbed the wheelbarrow and gloves, headed to the crime seen and picked the little guy up. His/Her tongue was sticking out as if it were a mimicking a past life. 

    I scooped her up and placed her in the wheelbarrow and headed back to my house and had a proper burial with my dogs present.

My heart is out to the owner and have your collar with the bell.
